To one side of the cottage, down the lane, accessed via 3 steps a long, narrow, secluded wooded garden with 2 paved areas (table/chairs) looking across Easdon Down and surrounding hills.Not suitable for small children, people with limited mobility or the elderly. To explore further, head down the lane to stepping stones across the River Bovey, a pretty little tree-shaded spot to dream and watch fish and dragonflies. Beyond this are lovely walks in all directions, in the foothills of open Dartmoor. Friendly pubs for eating out located in nearby town Moretonhampstead and Manaton.
