If you prefer a walk near a river, stroll through lovely Rothay Park, where there is an excellent and imaginative children’s playground. Another short walk from lovely Cringol Cottage will take you to the lake at Borrans Park where scenic views await. If your early enough, you may even catch site of the otters! Walk a little further to Waterhead and take a leisurely cruise on beautiful Lake Windermere or hire your own boat to explore its quiet bays.
